Leon Düllberg, born in 1994 in Kiel, is a photographer and visual artist. His work is focused on portraiture, but depending on the theme, it also responds to the landscape, which he sees as an integral part of people and their environment.
In his latest series Im Watt Leon Düllberg explores the impact of climate change on the landscapes and ecosystems of the Wadden Sea National Park in northern Germany, featuring portraits of scientists who investigate these transformations.
The analogue color photographs move between documentation and lived experience, following a landscape shaped by the shifting rhythms of the tides and reflecting the changing relationship between humans and nature.
Currently, Leon Düllberg is working on a new series that explores water as a space of reconnection with nature at a time when economic growth and development remain central priorities, contributing to the ongoing destruction of the planet and a growing sense of separation from the natural world.
